A True Rural Idyll
Secluded
Refurbished by its new owners for 2021, Brosterfield Cottage is a contemporary and cosy 1 bedroom cottage nestled in the heart of the Peak District. Located just a short walk from the village of Foolow, the cottage has breathtaking, south-facing views of rolling hills and grazing cattle.
The Brosterfield Cottage has undergone a wonderful renovation with beautiful furnishings to ensure guests have a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The downstairs open-plan kitchen and living area is the perfect place to have a quiet night in, cooking up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen and relaxing on the comfy sofa after a long day of roaming the Peaks.
Modern conveniences such as fast wifi, Nest thermostats and designer lighting, complement a contemporary and cosy cottage style.
Upstairs, sink into the cosy cotton sheets and deep mattress of the kingsized bed, looking out of the window onto breathtaking views of the hills. Next to the bedroom is a modern en-suite bath and shower room.
Twin room down stairs which is newly refurbed with comfortable beds, draws and hanging space. We do advise this for under 16 due to the bathroom facilities are located just off the main bedroom upstairs which imposes on privacy.
To the front of the cottage, you will find a garden table and chairs, perfect for soaking up those picturesque views of the countryside. Adjacent to the cottage is a lovely little private lawned garden area with private parking.
Dogs £25 per dog 2 max
Located at the end of a 500-metre private driveway and across a cattle grid, the cottage occupies a quiet and secluded spot next door to the owner's house on the edge of the village.
A network of public footpaths can be accessed from the door connecting keen hikers and dog walkers to the hills. The local pub is less than a mile away and serves excellent food and local ales.
