Come and stay in this beautifully furnished studio accommodation to experience the perfect countryside escape.
Couples can enjoy the luxuries of modern living while being surrounded by the simplistic joys of the English countryside.
Brewer’s Cottage has been designed with every detail taken into consideration to ensure your stay with us goes beyond your desires.
Arrive through the entrance hall that leads into the lovely open plan kitchen and living area. Flick on the TV and cuddle up on the winged chair and sofa for a well earned rest.
Wine and dine in the equipped kitchen served at the dining table for two.
For the perfect end to the day dim the lights and sink into the deep kingsized mattress and cosy cotton sheets of the luxurious Brewer’s bedroom.
Brewer’s Cottage is also fitted with a modern wet room with an overhead shower, oak sink unit and underfloor heating.
There is an allocated sitting out area in the courtyard (this can also be shared with guests from The Brosterfield Suite but there are separate tables).

Standard check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am
Please remove dirty or high heeled shoes on entry
Please do not bring candles, tea lights or incense sticks as they are not allowed at the property
No fireworks or Chinese lanterns are allowed
No smoking or vaping inside the property. Vaping can trigger the fire alarms
No outdoor music
We ask that any outside socialising be brought inside by 10pm.
We kindly ask that neighbours or local residents are not disturbed after this time.
Not suitable for Hen and Stag Groups
No glitter please as even the most eco friendly kind is impossible to remove from the soft furnishings and hard wearing floors
Parking
There is parking for 2 cars to the side of the cottage.
For reasons of both safety and property insurance, under no circumstances should you use the domestic plug sockets in the property to charge an electric vehicle.
Our domestic supply in the property does not have the capacity or set up to support EV charging.
Upon prior request, we can allow a car to charge using our EV charging point. This is chargeable per kwh and must be agreed and paid for in advance.
Outdoor Space

Lockable bike storage - available on request and must be requested prior to your stay to make sure we can facilitate this request and to be used at your own risk.
We are not liable for any theft of bikes stored with us or any damage.
We do advise to make sure your bikes are covered under your own house insurance for personal belongings, personal effects and household contents
Property Notes
The property is on a communal site so please be aware of the other cottages vehicles arriving and departing the site.
The owners dogs do live on site and sometimes they have a potter around the farm. If you have any nervous guests or doggie guests, we request that you let us know in advance.
The property is not a working farm but is located in a working farm village so you may experience seasonal smells, sights and sounds.
The local farmer, farms our land, occasionally there maybe a tractor on site for a short time.
The outdoor seating area is shared with The Brosterfield Suite. There are 2 separate sets of outdoor furniture. This is located in the courtyard area.
Dogs
We allow up to 2 dogs in this property and charge £25.00 for the duration of their stay.
If you require more doggie guests, this has to be requested before booking.
We do ask that they are kept off all furniture and out of the bedrooms
Please clear any dog litter from the grounds or garden Dogs must be kept under control at all times and especially if there is livestock in the fields nearby
Please do not leave dogs unattended in the property or outside at any time
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is provided free of charge and we have Fibre to the Property. However, as with any technical, there may be times when the signal may not be as it should, which is beyond our control. We also hope you appreciate that we cannot guarantee Wi-Fi if there are technical issues in the area.
We are the perfect base for Chatsworth, Castleton, Buxton, Monsal Trail, Bakewell and much, much more - please see our main menu for a full list of many of the visitor attractions.
The Bulls Head Pub which serves excellent food is a few mins walk. The Spar at Calver is a short drive and houses some of the best local produce from the local in-house butchers with locally reared cattle, local bakery selling delicious breads and cakes, local wine merchant and fabulous deli produce. Wonderful walks from the door to Eyam, Wardlow, Great Hucklow, Stoney Middleton and beyond.
Picturesque local villages include Eyam, Bakewell (famous for the Bakewell Pudding) and Ashford-in-the-Water, Tideswell, Castleton (famous for the rare Blue John Stone) Harrington (famous for fabulous cheeses)
Historic houses to see:- Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park and Hardwick Hall.
Brosterfield Farm is located just on the edge of Foolow Village, which has a fabulous local pub called The Bulls Head. This is only a few minutes walk from Brosterfield, perfect for a stroll down the lane to experience a good local pint and excellent food with an equally excellent reputation.
